This signifies how I felt after last summer's  eye surgery.    Wonderful vision, a modern day miracle.
Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  was painted a short time thereafter.   I was blind and now I SEE!

'MORNING HAS BROKEN'
Some days I want to paint, but a good idea just does not happen.    So I take a canvas, squeeze a paint, usually my favorite colors, out onto the palette, grab a big canvas and just paint.  Usually I do not know the end result when I start.
This painting was started and completed this way.  It just happened!  
A poem was written and is hanging with the painting at the PEN Womens Exhibit now in the Atrium at the NTHSC in Fort Worth.  See Exhibiting Locations for show info.
 Morning Has Broken  
Morning has broken after hiding though the night
Giving  warmth and renewal with radiant light.
Sunbeams singing and praises are spoken
Changing hues dance through the glass, our token.
